Mary Margaret developed the idea for Black & Whites from her experience as a server in fine dining restaurants like McCormick and Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant and The Capital Grille. With over 10 years experience as a server, she has a unique perspective of the industry and the lack of information and training materials available for service professionals.
Doug Frost
Doug began his career as a waiter, working through all levels of the restaurant and wine industry. He is one of only three people in the world to have achieved the distinction of holding both Master of Wine and Master Sommalier accrediations.
Taryn Kelly
Taryn
is Bartender Extraordinaire, having served in many diverse restaurant settings as well as being a Corporate Trainer for a major restaurant chain. Currently, you can enjoy one of her concoctions in Kansas City at JJ's, one of The Wine Spectator's Grand Award winners.

With over 10 years industry experience, including hotels and restaurants, Ryan has now taken the big leap into management (Condolences). He is particularly proud of the fact that his first day waiting tables was on Christmas Day, when his older brother drafted him into service.
